Salmon & Steelhead Recovery

The State of Oregon maintains conservation and recovery plans for populations of salmon and steelhead listed as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). These conservation and recovery plans set goals for measurable viability criteria. Analyses of these criteria are reported here. Additional data are also available for download.

Analyses of all six criteria are presented for Independent Populations of listed species, while only spawner abundance trend and habitat condition are reported for Dependent Populations. Spawner abundance trends are also reported for the ESU and Strata.

Site-specific, raw data on adult and juvenile abundance and habitat condition are available for download. Supplementary data on hatchery fish, harvest, and juvenile fish are also available for download.
